Vibration Analyses capabilities strengthened

WD Power has been using a Schenck VT60 analyser for years. This tool is invaluable in vibration monitoring and fault finding on rotating machinery. This unit is still functioning well and during the last calibration, we have again upgraded the firmware. As technology keeps on improving, we have decided to invest in the latest Scheck model, which give us access to the full scope of services available on the market. This will also allow us to be more flexible with the vibration service due to the remote location of most of our sites. Brüel & Kjær Vibro is now the certified partner for these instruments. The new unit, model VT80, has a layout and user interface which is familiar, but with lots of extra features that we are excited to use. This enables an easy migration for staff. Staff training and certification is currently undertaken and we are excited about the first results obtained.
