ISO 9001:2015 Certification Achieved

With the final boxes ticked by TUV Rheinland, the WD Power team’s hard work to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification has finally been rewarded – a proud WD Power achievement.

Why ISO 9001:2015?

ISO9001 is a well-known standard, understood and recognised (and expected) by most of our clients and suppliers.  The standard is process orientated and requires a day to day commitment from the team, while the main objectives of ISO 9001 fits perfectly with our company objectives to:

• Provide a systematic approach for increasing customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate our ability to consistently provide products / services that fulfil the requirements of customers, authorities and laws

A team effort

By incorporating the requirements of the 2015 revision into all our procedures, we are highlighting the importance of the Continual Improvement Process as part of our quality management strategy, which is essential to our business.  The 2015 revision replaces the older 2008 version with additional requirements and specific focus on dynamic market conditions, risk management, change management and internal communication.  We are looking forward to the performance advantage that comes from improved organisational proficiencies, the alignment of improvement strategies at all levels with strategic goals, and the flexibility for our teams to react promptly to opportunities that may arise.

Above all, we are excited about the opportunities to improve our services to customers. Since a large volume of our work is for international clients, we chose TUV Rheinland as our certification company due to its trustworthy reputation globally.

While we are justifiably proud of being awarded the certification, our main motivation is to use it as a benchmark for continually improving on all our services to customers.
