Weather Station – Neusberg Hydro

The Neusberg hydro site outside Kakamas, is situated in a location with harsh weather conditions. As part of our operate and maintain responsibility, WD Power recently installed a private weather station that will perform online recordings of the weather conditions on the site.

The weather station is accessible to the public through the Weather Underground network on this link

The Davis weather station is cable to record:

• Temperatures
• Wind Strength and direction
• Barometric pressure
• Rainfall
• Humidity

The installation was unfortunately too late to record the recent extreme temperatures that reached 47 Deg C on January 5^th, 2016. This was followed with a high rainfall on January 21^st when 100mm rain was reported on one day. This is equal to the annual rainfall of area!
